It's not just eBay Brian - EVERYTHING is slow in the last couple of months...

I've seen great stuff on our local buy-sell website, and in the shops too. The only problem is - money... :D
People spend less this year, so instruments and other luxury are way in the back of the shopping list.
The guys who have the $$$ buy new stuff, and the others try to make the best deal, which in most cases - insults the seller.

Add the stupid eBay rates to this situation, and You have a very annoying buy/sell experience... :( :(

Goki,
You, like the rest of the guys here, are the best! I guess there's really no reason to be negative, when it seems we're all in the same boat! But, we're also pretty darn fortunate! Hang on to your money, my friend; Your HiLites will pay for themselves several times over!

The situation has gone global, its worse now than it was 12mnths ago here.
On Saturday at work, we bought 8 Pro Cymbals, all Bosphorus and an 17 K fast Crash. $240 for the lot. $30ea.
These cymbals would be close to $3,000rrp in Australia, and even with a 25% discount they would still be over $2,000.

The K alone is $650ish here. We sell Second hand gear at half the New 'street price' , and we buy for around half that, we always tell customers they will get more for their gear on Ebay, or via private sale, most of them don't want to spend the time or effort.
Good if you're buying, not for sellers.

It WILL get better, just don't know when :| .
